Large Payments Reduced by 9%
In January-September, the turnover of the national system of large payments (AZIPS) totaled 76 734 million manat (minus 9% against 1 October of the previous year).
According to the Central Bank, within the scope 367,000 (+ 0.5%) operations were carried out, while the average size of a large payment was at 214,200 manat (minus 10%).
Turnover of small payments (XOHKS) for the same period on 20,804,000 operations totaled 10 890 million AZN. Here there is growth – the turnover increased by 2.5% and the number of operations – by 7%. The average size of small payments in January-September amounted to 523.3 manat (minus 4.6%). --17D-

The draft law "On Amendments to the Tax Code," adopted in its third reading, provides for tax exemptions on the sale of locally manufactured buses in Azerbaijan and the supply of spare parts for these vehicles. This was reported by the Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, explaining that the government's initiative aims to support business development in the country by reducing the tax burden. The exemption will come into effect on January 1, 2025, and will remain valid for eight years.
