LUKoil started transportation of support blocs of the platform
Transportation of the support foundations of the central technological platform to the Vladimir Filanovsky field, which is being developed by LUKoil on the north of the Caspian Sea, started yesterday from Astrakhan via the Volgo-Don canal, reported LUKoil press office.
In the near future the support foundations will be positioned and fastened on the sea bottom.
The support foundations of the sleet proof drilling stationary platform, the residential module and riser bloc have been already installed on the field.
In 2014 upper structures of all four platforms and the crossovers between them will be installed on the support foundations. All these facilities are built at the Astrakhan ship building plant by LUKoil’s order.
The operation drilling is planned to start on the field in 2014 and oil production - at the end of 2015.-0—
