The manat depreciated by another 0.5% (0.0085 AZN) on the currency auction of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on Thursday. The dollar exchange rate at the auction was established at 1.6867 manat. The auction began with USD 1 / AZN 1.6782.
Experts predict the appreciation of the dollar will continue until the end of the year and it will amount to 1.80-1.85 manat.
Meanwhile, a number of commercial banks buy and sell dollars at a rate exceeding 1.72 manat per dollar. -71D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
