The manat monetary base at the end of July this year amounted to 8,940.2 million manat, increasing in the reported month 285.8 million or 3.3%.
According to the Central Bank, since the beginning of 2912 the monetary base grew by 664.8 million or 8 percent.
Monetary base is the amount of cash of commercial banks deposited with the Central Bank as required reserves. With this money the Central Bank fulfills its obligations to commercial banks and government agencies. - 15B -
