Manat money supply increased in December by 7.9 %
Manat monetary base at the end of December last year, amounted to 11,641.9 million manat, increasing in the reporting month by 854.2 million or 7.9%.
According to the Central Bank, in the last 12 months, the monetary base increased by 1,126.9 million or 10.7%,
Monetary base is the amount of cash of commercial banks deposited with the Central Bank as required reserves. With this money the Central Bank fulfills its obligations to commercial banks and the government. - 15B -
