Merging educational resources of MFA and the Ministry of Communications to attract foreign students
BAKU/16.01.14/Turan : Establishment of the university ADA (Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy ) will raise the level of teaching and diversify education.
At today's press conference, the rector of the university, Deputy Foreign Minister of AR Hafiz Pashayev said now there are four faculties there. The university plans to organize the learning process in such areas as "cybersecurity " and "computer engineering." Training in these two areas will admit students who, during the first year of study will thoroughly study English. In the next academic year, they will be trained directly by selected specialties.
According to Pashayev, creation and diversification of the university education will attract more students from different countries to study at the university. Currently the enrollment includes 42 foreign students from 27 countries.
The university has already signed more than 30 agreements on cooperation with world renowned universities.
Recall, the President ordered the creation of the University ADA on January 13 on the basis of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and the University of Information Technology of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
This school will provide training for all levels of higher education and the implementation of additional and higher education programs conducting fundamental and applied research. - 17D-
