Met-Ak Joins BSE Listing Program
A manufacturer of steel and polymer pipes and fittings, as well as agricultural products, Met-Ak LLC joined the Baku Stock Exchange's Consultative Listing Program (CLP). This program is aimed at encouraging companies to finance from capital markets.
On the eve, on March 28, the acting chairman of the Board of the BSE Vugar Namazov and the executive director of the Met-Ak company Aydin Kerimov signed an agreement to join the CLP.
Met-Ak Ltd. (https://www.metak.az/az/company) has been operating since 1997. The company is one of the leaders of the market of steel and polymer pipes in Azerbaijan. ----08D

Azerbaijan’s economy, which is heavily dependent on oil revenues, faces a stark warning in the 2021 report by Carbon Tracker titled “Beyond the Oil States: The Urgent Need to Reduce Dependence on Oil in the Context of the Energy Transition.” The report ranks Azerbaijan among the most vulnerable oil-dependent countries, placing it in the "5th group" — a category reserved for nations expected to experience a decline in oil and gas revenues exceeding 40% over the next decade. This group includes Angola, Bahrain, Timor-Leste, Equatorial Guinea, Oman, and South Sudan, highlighting shared economic risks for these states.
