Mikayil Jabbarov Visits Georgia to Exchange Experience
Tbilisi / 26.12.17 / Turan: The new Tax Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov arrived in Tbilisi, where he met with the Minister of Finance Mamuka Bakhtadze.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the tax authorities of the two countries and the exchange of experience of tax officials of Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Georgian media reported. Jabbarov stressed the need to deepen the existing relations.
"During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the possibilities for cooperation between the sides on mutual assistance and the exchange of operational information in the tax sphere, and an agreement was reached on the visit of representatives of the Azerbaijani tax department to Georgia with the aim of exchanging experience in the tax sphere," the Georgian Finance Ministry said. -02D-
