Minister optimistic about understanding mobile operators
Mobile operators can upgrade to a service number portability (MNP) in April.
Told journalists opened today at the Azerbaijan-Japan Seminar of the space sector's Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov, the contract between the data and computing center MCIT and three operators (Azercell Telekom, Bakcell LTD and Azerfon) signed the other day and provides agreement and understanding of all parties . The minister stressed that there is a force majeure, then postpone the presentation for about 2 months.
MNP service will allow all subscribers to change operators in Azerbaijan while maintaining the basic seven-digit number. Innovation (with the exception of SIM-card in the Data-cards) will be free.
The only condition is that the subscriber's service during the transition to the second operator should not have debt "tails." You can use the service portability quarterly.
The service is not available yet, but users are already accustomed to it within dialing not 7, but 10 numbers, even within the same network. - 17D-

This group includes Angola, Bahrain, Timor-Leste, Equatorial Guinea, Oman, and South Sudan, highlighting shared economic risks for these states.

In Azerbaijan, the government has increasingly relied on tax exemptions for imported goods as a tool to stabilize domestic market prices. The exemption from the 18% VAT on wheat imports, extended this year, exemplifies this approach. New measures have also been introduced, including tax relief on imports of electric vehicle chargers, while exemptions for high-cost medications are currently under discussion. Notably, defense imports continue to be free from taxes and customs duties.
