Ministry of Finance Renewed Bids for Sale of Bonds
Today Baku Stock Exchange held an auction for the sale of state short-term bonds. The last auction was held on 12 February.
At the auction there were bonds for a total amount of 15 million manats.
The report noted the bonds will be in circulation for 91 days, and their repayment is scheduled for 31 March 2017.
It is required to provide a total value of 20% of the proposals.
Two auctions of the Ministry of Finance placed bonds for 20 million AZN and $ 22 million. The Ministry issued bonds for a total of 400 million manats and $ 500 million. ---08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
