Municipalities of Baku villages will introduce a transparent budget
The budgets of local governments must be transparent. This is the keynote of the conference "Electronic municipalities as a means of increasing public participation and improve the quality of services", held on the eve of the Center for Economic Studies with the support of international cooperation in Germany.
The project will involve 10 municipalities of settlements, the conference was attended by representatives of 31 township and village self-government body (Mashtaga, Shuvalan, Pirshagi, Bina, Gala, Kurdakhani, etc.), the best of which will be included in the coveted top ten.
According to Chairman of the CER Ghalib Togrul, the biggest problem is the minimum computerized accounting, despite the fact that for every 100 people in the country for 20 pieces of equipment and 65 Web users, and 60% of rural telephone exchanges have broadband Internet access.
The expert of the organization Rajab Imanov introduced the computer program "Transparent Budget", partly applied in Azerbaijan since 2003. - 17D-
