"NAZ-Lifan" at the price of "Mercedes"
The price for car models "NAZ-Lifan", which are assembled at the Nakhchivan Automobile Plant, has risen sharply. According to the the director of plant Musa Abdullayev, the rise in prices is linked to the situation on the currency market.
"Previously the price started from 11 thousand manats, depending on the model. In the coming days, the delegation of the plant will visit and will have talks on the price of the new model," Abdullayev said, noting that the new prices will start from 15,000 manats.
Earlier President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting on the economic situation called for officials to refuse to buy expensive cars, and to buy cars of Nakhchivan "NAZ-Lifan".Just after that call the price for local cars has risen by almost 50%. -05В-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
