NBCBank capitalization last year increased by 87%
BAKU/29.01.14/TURAN : Assets of NBCBank increased in 2013 by 36.3 %, reaching 117.22 million manat. Volume issued to individuals and legal entities grew by 36.2 % and amounted to 95.26 million manat.
The total liabilities of the bank increased from 61.74 million to 77.04 million manat. Deposit portfolio increased by 31.7 % and amounted to 52.34 million manat, including term client investments increased by 35.6% to 50.35 million manat.
Equity capital reached 40.18 million manat. The total capital increased by 67.8 % higher than the 38.79 million manat and paid charter capital - by 86.9 % to 36.54 million manat.
The bank's earnings equaled 15.56 million manat and expenditures - 14.32 million manat , an increase compared with 2012 , respectively 36.6% and 56.1 %. Net profit after tax decreased by 81.1 %, amounting to 448 thousand manats. - 15B -

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
