The State Committee for Securities registered the issue of 300 shares of Baku Stock Exchange in denomination of 200 manats each. The shares will be placed closed method, which means the appearance of another shareholder of the stock exchange.
The paid-up share capital of BSE today is 1.2 million manat and will rise by 5% in the case of the issue. Perhaps the shares will be placed not at par, but at a bargain price. The likely new member of the exchange can be among several brokerage firms - Pasha Capital, Invest-AZ, or PSG-Broker. In BSE they did not name the name of the new shareholder.
Effective from 2000, the Exchange has 18 shareholders, including the Istanbul Stock Exchange. Last time BSE published its annual report for 2009, according to which, most of the percentage share was at Azerbaijan Senaye Banki - 10.52%. The Exchange has 11 members. - 08D-
