Oil and Gas Revenues of Azerbaijan Decline

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov and Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Nazaruk have met to discuss the creation of joint production enterprises as part of a broader effort to strengthen economic ties between their countries.

Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary have signed a joint stock agreement in Bucharest on Tuesday to establish a joint venture (JV) for the implementation of the Black Sea Submarine Cable (Black Sea Energy) project. The initiative aims to create a green energy corridor connecting Azerbaijan to Europe.

Azerbaijan's Agrarian Subsidy Council has announced the new crop coefficients, seed and seedling quotas, and planting requirements for 2025, in a decision aligned with the "Rules for Subsidizing Agricultural Production" as per the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev issued on June 27, 2019.

Heydar Aliyev International Airport handled more than 5.038 million passengers in the first eight months of 2024, marking a significant increase of 33.2% compared to the same period last year, according to airport officials. This surge reflects a substantial growth from the 3.781 million passengers served during the same period in 2023.
