Oil production declines, state statistical committee hides dynamics of tank gas production
During 7 months, 2012 Azerbaijan produced 25.8 million tons of oil and condensate, reported Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee.
According to the Committee, from January to July 2012 oil production in the country dropped by 4.8% against the same period in 2011.
The Committee also reported that during this period Azerbaijan produced 10.3 billion cub.m. of tank natural gas. For some reason the Committee hides the dynamics of tank gas production in the country. The report of the Committee for the period from January to June 2011 does not mention the volume of tank gas and it is impossible to say if during 7 months, 2012 tank gas volume declined or increased.
However, the Committee reported from January to Jul 2012 decline of production in the oil and gas industry of the country constituted 5.9%.-0-
