On Foreign Exchange Auction US Dollar Exceeds AZN 1.76
The US dollar rose again on the foreign exchange auction of the country's Central Bank.
The auction began with a rate of 1.7575 and ended at 1.7620 manat per US dollar.
Since mid-October, the dollar has been steadily increasing. Most commercial banks refuse to sell foreign currency to the population.
In the black market the US dollar exchange rate stands at 10-12 kopecks higher than the official rate. -71D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
