Over 237 million tons of oil transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline during period of its operation
From June 4, 2006 till October 1, 2013 237.2 tons or 1,773,000,000 barrels of oil was loaded into 2,304 tankers on the Ceyhan terminal and shipped to the world markets via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, reads the BP-Azerbaijan company quarter 3, 2013 report.
During 9 months, 2013 24.7 million tons or 186 million barrels of oil was loaded into 243 tankers in Ceyhan and exported via BTC. From January to September 2012 25.5 million tons or 189 million barrels of oil was loaded into 245 tankers from Ceyhan and transported via BTC.—0—
