The insurance company AXAMbask broke its own record collection of premiums in the first 9 months. It had 14,351,790 manat, which is 17.6% more compared to the same period last year.
Turan was told in the company by October 1 of this year, the award for voluntary insurance totaled 7,177,040 manat. The greatest amount of revenue was recorded under the car hull insurance - 3,251,260 manat, voluntary medical insurance - 1,668,410 manat, property insurance against fire - 1,122,020 manat, insurance of accidents - 282,440 manat, and insurance of cargo - 313,820 manat.
Compulsory insurance premiums in the reporting period amounted to 7,174,740 manat, where about 70% was car insurance in the format of civil liability to third parties. The rest of the amount of premiums fell on other types of compulsory insurance.
In the first 9 months compensation under insurance claims by AXA Mbask was 7,478,980 manat (+ 23.5% against October 1, 2013).
Voluntary insurance payments amounted to 4,609,490 manat, mandatory - 2,869,500 manat.
Insurance company AXA Mbask was established in 1992, and it is among the top ten insurance companies in Azerbaijan in terms of premiums collected and payments made. The authorized capital is 8,732,520 manat. The shareholders are AXASegurosGenerales, SA, DeSegurosYReaseguros (90,1369%) and a natural person (9.8631%). --17D-

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
