As it can be seen from the table of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, in the first seven months of this year, the country's consumption of gasoline and diesel fuel fell by 11% and 14.9%, respectively. This indicates that the population in the current year began to save fuel, which means less use of personal vehicles. Significant growth in the consumption of liquefied gas is shown by the activity of the company Baku-Bus, whose buses use clean fuel. -12A--

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
