President ordered to provide all persons with disabilities with cars
Baku/24.12.13/Turan : President Ilham Aliyev has ordered the allocation of AZN 5 million from the state budget for the current year to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare to provide cars to disabled people standing in a queue.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, 618 disabled veterans of war and law enforcement have applied for cars, as well as people disabled during the events on January 20. Each car will cost over 8,000 manat.
In the years 1998-2013 , the government purchased and submitted 3,533 cars to this category of people as well as the invalids of the Great Patriotic War and the Chernobyl accident.
Over the past two years people with disabilities were given Lifan cars, which are assembled in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. 08D
