Qafqaz Inkishaf Banki placed three -quarters of declared shares
Shares of Qafqaz Inkishaf Banki for a total of 1.1 million manat placed at Baku Stock Exchange.
The issue of 40 million ordinary registered non-documentary shares of 1 manat passed state registration in Decemer last year. According to the exchange, all the shares were sold in two transactions (two investors).
Underwriting was provided by Ltd. Chelsea Capital. By today they have placed 74.5 % (29.8 million manat) of the announced issue. According to the legislation, an issue is held in the case of placing a half of it. The paid charter capital thus reached 44.6 million manat.
The shareholders are one legal person and 12 individuals. It is noteworthy that the number of shareholders of the bank was ten, and with the arrival of three new shareholders the share of the bank's main shareholder and the chairman of the Supervisory Board Eldar Ismailov fell from 57.3 % to 45.9 %. - 15B -

In late February, the governments of Pakistan and Azerbaijan are expected to sign an investment agreement worth $2 billion, which will include several projects with SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan).
