Reduced Production of Construction Materials
According to the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan, for 10 months the amount of building materials produced was 378.1 million manat (+ 20.9% to November 1 last year).
In absolute terms, this was 2,448,200 tons of cement (+ 39.7%), 30,000 cubic meters of concrete structures (+ 43.5%), 344 800 tons of asphalt (+ 3.3%) and 1,451,900 tons of ready-mixed concrete (growth by 26%).
For other positions there was shortfall in comparison with 2013 - plaster was produced in 158,800 tons (minus 28.6%), plus 4,236 tons of processed marble, travertine, alabaster and articles thereof (minus 71%), construction bricks - 236,900 cubic meters (minus 27.3%). --17D-
