Reduced Subsidies for Compulsory Insurance of Cars and Property of Government Agencies and Property of Needy Families
While this year the Ministry of Finance allocated 20 million manats for compulsory insurance of cars and property of government agencies, as well as the property of low-income families, next year this figure should be 2 million AZN.
As 80% of the allocated funds have already been spent, the reduction in the financial support for compensation is inexplicable. The reason can be the cut in the expenditure side of the state budget.
Recall that last year the state budget allocated 7 million 714.6 thousand manats for this purpose, and the sum was fully spent. This year 19.7 million AZN is to be used. --17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
