Arrests of Supporters of Muslim Unity Movement in Ganja
A Ganja resident Sabir Aliyev on November 26 was detained by police and taken to the Police Department of the Nizami district of the city. The reason for the detention is that he made a call in favor of the movement Muslim Unity at the intersection of Tabriz and A. Mammadov streets. During the search he was confiscated a Makarov type pistol, 8 cartridges, a cartridge box and 3,215 grams of heroin.
According to other information from the Ministry of Interior, on November 26 a resident of Ganja Ruzi Ismayilov came to the mosque Shah Abbas to support the members of the movement Muslim Unity in connection with the Nardaran events. In this regard, he was arrested in front of his house. During the detention, Ismayilov hit the police major Oktay Orujov on the head and then tried to detonate a grenade. Ismayilov was detained and seized grenades F-1 and RGD-5, as well as 14 grams of heroin. -16d04-
