Report of Depository Center for First Quarter
The National Depository Center (NDC) recorded transactions on the additional issue of shares with a nominal value of 62 million 560.55 thousand manat in Q1 of this year (6.6 times less than in the same period last year) .
According to the center, during this period NDC registered 41 deals of issuers on the additional issue of shares, including in March - 23 transactions at 28 million 86.36 thousand manat. In the first quarter NDC signed eight agreements with issuers of securities. It also held registration of 1,126 exchange transactions with a nominal value equal to 587 million 990.38 thousand manat.
In addition, it registered 64 OTC transactions in securities with a par value of 3 million 502.13 thousand manat.
NDC was established in September 1997. In 1999, the Center was transferred to the balance of the State Committee for Securities, in connection with which it was re-registered in September 1999.
The authorized capital of the Center is 1.4 million manat. NDC provides services to nearly 1.2 thousand Issuers. --17D-
