Russia reduced gas price for Armenia
The Armenian government has approved the Armenian-Russian protocol of agreement on the price of Russian gas at $165 per 1000 cub.m. for 2015, reported news.am.
The new price per 1000 cub.m. of Russian gas is $25.00 cheaper, now Yerevan buys gas from Russia at the price of $190.
The new price will be backdated to January 1, 2015 and the agreement will be effective till December 31, 2015 and after that the new agreement will be signed, if needed.
In April 2015 Gasprom President Aleksei Miller said that gas price for Armenia will be reduced. At the end of June 2015 Armenian President Serzh Sargsian said that from January 1, 2015 Armenia pays $165 per 1000 cub.m. of Russian gas on the border against the previous $189, which has allowed neutralizing influence of fluctuation of the Armenian currency dram against USD at the end of 2014.—0—
