SOCAR established a new company
Tax Ministry announced on state registration of LLC "SOCAR-CNG". State registration of the company was held on October 22 , it was officially announced on December 4 in a special issue of the newspaper "Vergiler (Taxes) .
Judging by the title , one of the founders of the company is the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan , and it refers to the liquefied natural gas sector . SOCAR has several joint ventures with similar names . Since June 2012 the information about the founder of the company is confidential and therefore information about the founders closed.
Share capital of OOO SOCAR-CNG is 100,000 manat. The company is located at the address: Baku, Khatai district, St. Mehdi Mehdizadeh, 22
As Director of LLC SOCAR-CNG appointed was Fikret Sujan, who also directs the Azerbaijani- Turkish joint venture AzTurQaz. As members of the Board of Directors appointed were Elshan Salmanov, Rasim Salmanov, Akbar Haljiyev, Fuad Kerimli and Jalal Faradzhly .
On the corporate website SOCAR there is still no information on LLC SOCAR-CNG. - 08D-

Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
