SOCAR started drilling of two wells on Pirallakhi field
SOCAR’s drilling company has started drilling of two wells on the Pirallakhi field, reported SOCAR.
The well No 1147 with the target depth of 840 metres will be drilled from the platform No 1140 on the offshore section of the Pirallakhi-Deniz field.
The well No 1185 is drilled on the ground section of the field named Pirallakhi Island-shore. The target depth of the well is 800 metres.
According to the geologists’ forecasts, expected daily production rate of each well will be 4 tons of oil. The wells are drilled by order of Absheronneft oil and gas production company.
Pirallakhi field development started in 1902. The residual resources total about 2 million tons of oil.—0—
