SOCAR to build new platform on Bulla Deniz offshore field
SOCAR has decided to build a new production platform on the gas condensate field Bulla Deniz, where the well caught fire during the exploration drilling in August 2013, but new productive gas horizons were discovered on the depth of about 6,000 meters.
According to SOCAR, the new platform No 122 will be built by Neftegasstroi trust, which belongs to SOCAR.
The platform is designed by SOCAR’s Project Institute, which was ordered by the Narimanov oil and gas production company.
The new platform will be used to drill three operation wells. The platform will consist of 10 blocs and will be installed on the sea depth of 26 meters.
2.4 million cub.m. of gas and 450 tons of condensate a day is planned to be extracted from the platform.
The Bulla Deniz offshore field was discovered in 1973 and was put into operation in 1975. The field is operated by the Narimanov oil and gas production company.—0-

In recent days, there have been claims that bread prices in Azerbaijan have risen. Social media users report that the price of bread has increased by 5-10 qepiks. According to consumer complaints, it is difficult to find weight information on factory-produced bread, commonly known as "zavod çörəyi" in Azerbaijan. In many cases, bread packaging does not include weight details. Similarly, bread sold at smaller bakeries and tandir houses often lacks information apart from the price.
