SOCAR will increase gas export to Georgia in winter by 50 mcb, reads SOCAR’s web site.
The same source reported that after Georgia’s request to increase gas export to Georgia, SOCAR has had talks with the shareholders of the consortium of Shah Deniz and the South Caucasian pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzerum).
“During the talks we have agreed to revise the seasonal limitations envisaged by the contract on gas export from the Shah Deniz field to Georgia. According to the new agreement, gas export to Georgia will be increased by at least 50 mcb,” said the same source.
In 2015 Azerbaijani gas export to Georgia from the Shah Deniz Phase 1 totaled 721 mcb (growth by 5.3%).—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
