Subway Refuses to Continue Three More Tenders
CJSC Baku Subway has refused to continue the tender procedures for three more purchases. The reason is the same - limited financial resources.
Today, February 9th the Subway announced the cancellation of the results of the tender for the purchase of personal protective equipment, the total cost of which should be around 1.5 million manat.
As Turan was told by a representative of the tender commission Rauf Yusifov, the results are also canceled on two tenders for the construction of a station (B3) on the Purple Line - purchase, installation and commissioning of three passenger elevators, tunnel and station power fans, dampers and their accessories. This will lead to delay in putting the station B3 into operation.
According to R. Yusifov, several other purchases are also questionable. Before that, the continuation of the tender for the purchase of two machines was refused.
In 2017, the government has cut the subsidy for Baku Subway from the state budget by AZN 8 million. This year it will amount to AZN 30 million. --08B
