Sumgait thermal power station generated over 2 billion kwh of power
From January to October 2013 the Sumgait power station has generated 2.5 billion kwh of power, reported Azerenerji company (power generation and distribution in Azerbaijan) press office.
The company reported that in October the company generated over 173.7 million kwh of power.
The station with the capacity of 525 Mwt plays an important role in strengthening of power safety of Sumgait city and Absheron peninsula. The power station ensures stable operation of power transmitting and distribution systems and is operated in accordance with the dispatcher schedule.
The power station consists of two gas and one steam turbines.—0—
