The portal Hesab.az held a commemorative two millionth transfer from putting the system into operation in April 2011. The anniversary transaction was carried by a Sumgayit resident Elnur Guliyev. The amount of payment was only AZN 2.
The user was awarded by GoldenPay mobile phone Nokia Lumia 720. "The two-millionth payment is something that we all look forward to. This is to confirm that users enjoy the flexibility of electronic payments, and for us this is a new stage of development," said General Director of GoldenPay Farid Ismayylzadeh.
The number of users of the portal online services Hesab.az increased on average by more than 50% per year. If as of the beginning of the year the number of users of the system was about 34,000, but now the figure has exceeded the mark of 70,000.
The electronic payment system GoldenPay already allows paying for the services of about 300 companies. - 17D-
