Surplus in Trade Turnover of Azerbaijan Amounted to $ 2,619 Million in Seven Months of 2016
In January-July 2016 the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan amounted to 12 billion 133.6 million dollars, according to the State Statistics Committee.
According to Turan, the surplus in the trade balance for the reported period amounted to 2 billion 619 million dollars, with exports amounting to $ 7 billion 376.3 million dollars and imports amounting to 4 billion 757.3 million dollars.
The State Statistics Committee noted that in the preparation of the trade balance they also considered statistically estimated value of exported oil and gas, the customs procedure in respect of which has not yet been fully completed.
According to the State Committee, goods were exported to 102 countries and imported from 157 countries in the seven months.
41.2% of the trade turnover fell on the European Union, 12.2% - on the CIS countries, and 46.6% - on other countries. -----71D
