In the five months of 2016 the Ministry of Taxes transferred taxes and state fees for a total amount of 2 billion 683.5 million AZN to the state budget. According to the Ministry’s analytical information department, the plan was fulfilled by 103.2%.
However, comparison of the indicator of tax collection shows that compared with January-May 2015, the revenues decreased by 165.3 million AZN or 5.8%.
The Ministry of Taxes does not provide details about the level of tax collection across sectors and regions of the country. --- 08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
