TengizChevrOil plans to increase gas price for Atyrau district
The Kazakhstan Republic Department for Regulation of Natural Monopolies has received a letter from Zhylyoygas about TengizChevrOil’s intention to increase the natural gas sale price in 2014-2015.
The current price is 3,960 tenge per 1000 cub.m. In 2014 TengizChevrOil intend to increase gas price up to 4,059 tenge per 1000 cub.m. (growth by 2.5%) and in 2015 up to 4,160 tenge per 1000 cub.m. (growth by 2.5%).
For the industrial enterprises of Tengiz district the current price is $82.00 per 1000 cub.m. In 2014 the price could go up to $84.50 per 1000 cub.m. (growth by 2.5%), while in 2015 – up to $86.15 per 1000 cub.m. (growth by 2.5%).
The Antimonopoly Agency reported that TengziChevrOil is the subject of the market, which occupies a dominating (monopoly) position at the natural gas market, reported Kazinform.-0-
