The Azerbaijani Parliament has approved the State Budget for 2023

On the eve of the experts from Russia, Azerbaijan, and Iran convened to discuss the development of road transport along the North-South international transport corridor, focusing on enhancing logistical efficiency and cooperation among the three nations. Representatives from transport departments, customs authorities, foreign ministries, and carrier associations participated in the meeting, as reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

In its first reading, the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has approved amendments to the Land Code designed to enhance the efficiency of agricultural land use. The amendments, discussed at today's parliamentary meeting, were developed under President Ilham Aliyev's decree dated July 15, 2021, titled "On a number of measures for the development of production and processing industry in the agricultural sector."

The fifth meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani Expert Council on "Cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan within Regional Projects and Initiatives" is being held in Baku today. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, emphasized the expanding interregional cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the robust network of relationships between Azerbaijan and over 70 regions of the Russian Federation. More than ten agreements on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural ties are currently being implemented with Azerbaijani partners of Russian regions.

In 2023, Azerbaijanis were still experiencing dietary restrictions, according to the brochure of the State Statistics Committee "Azerbaijan - Figures and Facts". Data on the consumption of meat and meat products per capita showed that it is 43.5 kg, dairy products - 258.8 kg, as well as a significant number of other basic foodstuffs such as eggs, fish, potatoes and fruits.
