The ban for entry the capital by other-town cars is legalized
Road Safety Commission of the Cabinet held a meeting on Thursday, which decided on additional measures to restrict traffic in Baku in order to "facilitate running of cars on the roads of the capital and the elimination of traffic jams." Thus, a restriction is applied for certain types of vehicles. Restrictions will not touch the vehicles carrying agricultural products, emergency and rescue vehicles.
Restrictions for the rest of the trucks will be limited as follows: from 1 May to 1 October from 07:00 to 22:00, and from October 1 to May 1, from 07:00 to 21:00.
In addition, vehicles carrying more than five tons cannot travel through the capital in the afternoon without proper authorization of the Commission, the Ministry of Interior and the traffic police.
Public transportation from regions of the country and from abroad will be allowed to the country. Entering the city for other types of motor vehicles will be banned.
Free car parking will be at the northern and southern entrances to the city; their construction will be completed before September 1 of the current year. Buses will run from these car parks to the city.
Before September 15, will be launched electric trains Baku-Sumgayit-Baku.
Five years ago the Ministry of Transport introduced in the capital the intelligent control system, but the system did not justify itself. -05D04-
