The dollar rate has not changed, but the bank does not sell the currency
The Central Bank announced on Wednesday the dollar rate for November 17, which remained at the same level 1.7039 manats per US dollar. So, on November 16 up to 15 banks stopped selling dollars and euros to the population, and that contributes to the prosperity of the "black market."
So, at the official exchange rate of 1.7039 manat per dollar, the banks sold the currency for 1.7720 and buy at 1.7670 AZN.
At the same time, on the "black market" dollar is offered at for 1.82 and 1.81 AZN for purchase.
Experts predict that by the end of the year the official exchange rate will be 1.80-1.85 manats. -71D-
