The non-oil sector provided 40.8% of tax revenues
In January 2013, the tax and other revenues for the Ministry of Taxes totaled 745.6 million manat. The share of non-oil sector accounted for AZN 304 253 300 or 40.8% of tax revenues in the state budget, Turan was told in the Taxes Ministry.
Over half (54.3%) of tax revenue is a share of the profit tax. Next on the tax revenue it was followed by the value added tax (18.6%), the income tax on individuals (8.3%), excise taxes (5.8%), etc.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
