The Number of Banks that Have Joined the System of Money Transfers Monex Grew to 23
The money transfer system Monex, which is a project of Muganbank, has been joined by Nakhichevan Bank, Bank of Azerbaijan and AFB Bank. The information was reported to the department of public relations of Muganbank by the project manager of the system of money transfers Monex Vusal Ibraghimov.
After reporting the completion of the registration of the aforementioned banks in the system Monex, Vusal Ibraghimov said that technical issues related to the accession of new branches and offices of banks to the system is completely solved. Thus, the geography of the system Monex expanded and the number of banks that have joined the system has reached twenty-three.
The project manager said that the negotiations with other banks wishing to join the system. Speaking about plans to enter the system Monex on an international level, Ibraghimov informed that negotiations are underway to expand the existing system in Georgia, the establishment and development of the system in Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, China and the United Arab Emirates.
Recall that the system of money transfers Monex, created in 2011 by the JSC Muganbank serves customers in more than 500 branches and offices of 23 banks in the country. Through this system, customers are able to quickly send and receive money within the country and in Georgia. - 15D -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
