The number of data received by the SPS in 2012 increased by almost 10%
The Financial Monitoring Service (FMS) under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in December 2012 received 26,566 information items on suspicious transactions and the current, which is 3% less than in the previous month.
According to the service during the past year they received 259.867 thousand data. Compared to January-December 2011 the figure rose to 22.91 thousand units, or 9.7 percent.
