The share of AXA Group in the share capital of AXA MBASK has grown to 84%
Newly changed in favor of the majority shareholder (AXA Group) the share capital of the insurance company AXA MBASK. Its share in the authorized capital of the financial structure is 84%.
In October 2010, it acquired a controlling stake (51%), then in fact, has shown interest in the local financial market - at the end of fiscal year 2012 it had 22,860 shares worth 8,732,520 manat (nominal value of each bond - 382 manats) . Of these, 8,634 or 37.769% owned by one individual (citizen of Azerbaijan) and 14 226 or 62.231% - one foreign entity.
After another gain AXA Group's share came to 84% (19,202 shares or 7,353,170 manat). Eldar Garibov owns 16%.
Open Joint Stock Company AXA MBASK has been operating in the insurance market since 1992 and provides services to 25 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance.
In October 2010, the insurance company changed its main shareholder, and on 7 December of that year, its license was renewed. The controlling stake (51%) was acquired by AXA Group (France) through its subsidiary AXA Sequros Generales, SA, De Sequros Y Reasequros (Spain).
