This year, inflation is projected at 3.3%
Baku/08.10.13/Turan : Ministry of Economic Development predicts growth of the consumer price index for the year of 3.3%. The next year, inflation will increase. For three quarters of this year, inflation stood at 2.3%.
According to a Ministry of Finance report, in 2014, inflation will be 3.5 %. And in the years 2015-2017 inflation will remain at the level of 3.8-4.1 %, calculated by the government.
In 2011-2012, consumer prices in Azerbaijan rose by 7.9 % and 1.1 %.
According to government estimates, the monetary income of the population in 2013 will outstrip inflation by more than half (7%) and the amount to 38.4 billion manat. The following year, the population earns 42 276.8 mln. By 2017, this figure could reach 55.9 billion manat, which is 83 % ahead of the figure for 2011.
By the end of this year, the average monthly earnings of employed persons reached 440 manat. In 2014, this figure could reach 479 manat. In the next 3 years in the government believe that the increase in wages will grow at an annual level of 4.5-4.9 %. - 08D-
