Till end of I European Games Baku oil refinery to be suspended for repair
“We have already suspended the oil refinery for the planned repair,” Elman Ismaylov, General Director of Heydar Aliyev oil refinery, told journalists at the Caspian Oil & Gas 2015 exhibition.
He said according to the approved plan, the repair works will be completed on June 25 and the oil refinery will resume its operation by June 28, 2015.
He added that during this period it is planned to fully check the technological lines, replace some parts, check the automation safety system and etc.
Asked by Turan’s correspondent “if during this period the country will have sufficient fuel resources,” Ismaylov said usually Azerbaijan consumes about 120,000 tons of Ai-92 petrol a month. “We have already stored 110,000 tons and we plan to import additional volume of petrol,” explained Ismaylov.
He said that at present the Heydar Aliyev oil refinery makes only Ai-92 petrol.
By June 1, 2015 the Heydar Aliyev oil refinery numbered 3660 employees.—0—
