Trading volume on the BBVB rose in July by 38%
The volume of trading in the currency section of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB) in July 2012 was $ 65 million, or 50.974 million manat.
This is 37.6% more compared to the previous month and by 25.7% compared to July 2012.
On the tool USD / AZN_TOD the trading volume amounted to 46.262 million manat or $ 59,000 million in dollar terms, and the instrument Swap_USD/AZN_TOD_1 The week turnover amounted to 4,712,400 million manat or 6.0 million in U.S. dollars. The average rate of the dollar to manat on this tool made 0.7854 AZN.
The average volume of each transaction in e-trading system on USD / AZN reached in July $ 2,241 million, and the average daily turnover was $ 2.826 million.
The BBVB auction in July 2013 was attended by 11 banks. In the reporting month, the BEST 46 trading sessions are conducted and recorded 29 transactions.
Exchange currency turnover for the 7 months of this year amounted to the equivalent of 286.42 million manat, which is 36.8% less than in the comparable period last year.
The exchange rate of the national currency in the reporting month fell by 0.05% - from 0.7831 to 0.7835 for 1 USD. The average rate of the U.S. dollar against the manat in July was 0.7841 AZN for 1 USD, while in June it was equal to 0.7843 AZN.
At the end of July 2013 the total turnover in the Interbank credit market functioning in the framework of BEST, amounted to 2 million manat equivalent.
The monthly average interest rate calculated on the basis of banks' applications market makers in BakIBOR loans for up to 90 days in July 2013 amounted to 10.25% in manats and 11.24% in U.S. dollars. The interest rate on BakIBID up to 90 days was 4.38% per annum in local currency and 4.23% in U.S.D. -15D--
