Turnover on Remittances in Unibank Increased a Quarter
Over the past year, the volume of transactions on money transfers to "Unibank" increased by 25.3% to 60 million manat. Through the network of the bank branches in January-August was made 112.5 thousand remittances, which is 32% more than the year before.
As reported in the bank, since the beginning of this year, the average amount of such operations almost doubled. As a result, the monthly turnover of the bank in this segment of the market grew for 8 months by 70%, while the daily index confidently approached 500 thousand AZN. The share of transactions of money transfer was registered in 9 regional branches of the bank, while reaching 43%. And in August, remittances at only two branches in Ganja were 15%.
It should be noted that the average amount of urgent money transfers this year is 545 manat. Each sender or receiver of funds in the amount of 500 $ / 500EUR (or 20 000 RUR) gets in "Unibank" a bonus of cards for mobile phones.
Currently, the bank operates through 13 money transfer systems, including Western Union, "Fast Mail", Contact, Faster, Migom, Leader, "Golden Crown", Blizko, Coinstar and PrivatMoney. - 15D -
