Two new shelters for low-income citizens to be put into operation
In Azerbaijan there will be commissioned two new shelters for the poor.
As reported today by Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Salim Muslimov, one of them located in the Gobustan region, is designed to accommodate people who have served a term in prison. The second shelter in the village Zabrat is intended for street children. Next to it will operate a rehabilitation center for children of the same category.
This is not the only facility of its kind in the country. Design and construction documents for the construction of rehabilitation centers for minors with 30 places, as well as shelters for 25 people in Ganja, Agdjabedi, Guba, Masalli, Sheki, Tovuz, Ismayilli and Salyan have passed the examination.
According to the minister, the state budget for next year includes the cost of construction of social facilities in different regions of the country. --17D-
