Unemployment in Azerbaijan reduced by 0.1%
According to the official estimates of the State Statistics Committee, the employed population in Azerbaijan as of 1 November was 4,421.5 million. Compared to the results of statistical research for the second quarter of this year, the number of employees in the country increased 37.4 thousand people.
In THE State Statistics Committee they told Turan that at the beginning of November this year Azerbaijan had 243.8 thousand unemployed. This represents 5.2% of the labor force of the country. In the last four months unemployment in the country decreased 0.1%.
It should be noted that the state structures are seriously engaged with providing employers with the conclusion of individual contracts. According to the Ministry of Taxes, from April this year, with the assistance of tax officials labor relations were legalized between 53 thousand employers and 174 thousand individuals.
This year, another 30 thousand jobs were legalized by the State Employment Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. - 08B-
